Enrivonmentalism is for Christians?

You can be a person of faith and care deeply about God's creation.

Yes and no. I am green (in some things... its my favorite color!) I certainly care deeply about God's creation (anyone who knows me knows how I feel about my puppies) however, the creation I care most about is the human kind. I think there is a delicate balance between environmentalism and faith. I'm not sure these folks have found it (just my opinion). While I agree with some of their tenants, others not so much. I am most definitely more "tree hugging" than most of my friends, and believe that we are to be good stewards of the planet; my consternation is how to best accomplish stewardship while not "throwing the baby out with the bath water".

One plus for this organization ... their really cool bumper sticker "God's original plan was to hang out in a garden with some naked vegetarians." Too funny!!!

Now off to eat some humanely killed four legged protein source.

  2. I don't have a problem with caring for the environment; just with the government and special interest people mandating my stewardship. This is a beautiful world, and it would be so much nicer if it wasn't dispoiled by liberals and other blights on humanity:)
