Important things

Last week I was sitting in my favorite tavern nursing a drink and talking to the regulars. I struck up a conversation with the bartender's husband. He was telling me about his work day and I was asking him about the upcoming birth of his first child. In the midst of this chat he began to tell me the things that are important to a man. His list was short. Every man needs three things.

1. A good fitting hat.
2. An expensive watch.
3. A good fitting/expensive pair of shoes.

At least I have a good fitting baseball cap.
