Biofuels are not the best we have...

Biofuels are one answer to the energy situation we have on this planet. Petroleum is still the cheapest and most abundant source on energy we have. I do believe we need to use it more efficiently, but it provides the most bang for the buck. The leadership of the UK is also asking questions about this rush to an unproven and expensive source of energy.

Chris, a deep thinker from here in Granville County, wrote about biofuels last summer.

    It's good to see some common sense among the Brits. Biofuels, in my opinion, will do far more harm than good.

    If we really want $25 a bushel corn and even more suffering and poverty among the world's poor, then by all means let's increase biofuel production.
